Ramada Birmingham Solihull marketed at new guide price
08 August 2012
The Ramada Birmingham Solihull, a 145-room hotel situated in the centre of Solihull and brought to the market earlier this year by specialist property adviser Christie + Co on behalf of the joint administrators of Ailsa Solihull Limited, has been reduced in price to £7.5 million (previously £14m).
The property has four phases of development including a 16th century constructed Grade II-listed building fronting the High Street in Solihull (known as The George Hotel). In addition to the guest rooms, the hotel has 15 meeting and conference rooms and is arranged on three sides of an historic bowling green.
The hotel benefits from excellent access to local amenities such as the shopping destination Touchwood, as well as the National Exhibition Centre and Birmingham Airport.
Gavin Wright, Director of Christie + Co, says: “The Ramada Birmingham Solihull hotel benefits from an excellent mix of overnight and weekend guests, and daily commercial, leisure and corporate business. We anticipate a great deal of interest in it, particularly at the new guide price.”
Christie + Co is seeking first round offers by 12 noon on 7th September.
