An exciting hotel development opportunity in Collegelands, Glasgow’s newest business and living quarter, is being marketed by Christie + Co, the hotel specialist, on behalf of developer Dawn Group.

The development provides for up to a 200-bedroom hotel in this highly visible, city centre mixed use development — adjacent to Strathclyde University and close to both George Square and Queen Street Train Station.

The first phase of the development was completed in 2011 with surrounding office and student accommodation and car park already testament to the long term success of the development. Subject to agreeing terms with an operator, it is anticipated that a 12-month build period will allow the hotel to commence trading in the second half of 2013, and certainly prior to Christmas next year.

Christie + Co is inviting offers for the sale of the turnkey facility — however, it will consider offers from operators to enter into a lease on the completed hotel.
