North-East pubs are ‘Click to Purchase’ first for Christie + Co

11 March 2011

Two pubs in the north-east of England have become the first marketed for sale by Christie + Co to use the Click to Purchase ® platform.

The Clayton Arms in Bedlington, Northumberland and the Tram Car in Sunderland, Tyne and Wear, are the first two properties to feature on this new platform.

Click to Purchase ® is established in the commercial property market as a new and modern way to transact. It delivers speed of exchange, certainty of sale, total transparency, simplicity and flexibility. With the platform, once an offer is accepted then exchange of contracts can take place immediately. Parties are committed legally so gazumping and chipping are a thing of the past.

The system also offers complete transparency to buyers, allowing them to consult with their legal advisors, who also have complete access to the system. They can then bid in the knowledge that if their bid is accepted, then the business is theirs.

Christie + Co Managing Director, Chris Day, says: “We are delighted that we will be able to offer an on-line facility to acquire business property in a virtual environment. It will allow purchasers to buy businesses over the internet quickly and efficiently in a straightforward way.

“Certainty is brought to the buying and selling process, in a way that no other system can deliver.”

Clicktopurchaseproperty.com is powered by Click to Purchase ®, launched in 2009 as a unique system enabling properties to be bought and sold online for the first time.
