The Maritim Hotel Reichshof has been sold through Christie + Co to the Blackstone Group.

The transaction was made possible by the co-operation of the German investment company which was authorised as trustee by the former proprietor.

The 303-bedroom hotel, with its beautiful Art Nouveau façade, is situated in the heart of Hamburg opposite the main railway station. Its excellent reputation and long-standing tradition for quality attracts an enviable number of guests each year.

Christie + Co, Germany’s property expert for small and medium-sized hotels, is increasingly becoming the preferred business agent to the corporate hotel market.
