Christie + Co has been instructed by Admiral Taverns, the UK's third largest tenanted and leased pub company, to market a number of pubs, which are spread across England and Wales.
Christie + Co sold The Queens Arms on behalf of the corporate client to a first-time buyer. The Queens Arms will now revert to operating as a freehouse under private ownership. This transaction is one of many recent sales throughout the country which have seen former pub company/brewery pubs revert to freehouses.


Recent notable transactions include:

  • Lamplighters public house Castleford, West Yorkshire sold to Amber Taverns 
  • Knife & Clever acquired by Charles Wells Houghton Conquest, Bedfordshire
  • Lion & Unicorn Kentish Town, London sold to Geronimo Inns
  • Stanford Arms Suffolk sold to Greeen Jacks Inns 
  • Walkabout Bar Clapham sold to Antic on behalf of iNTERTAIN Ltd
  • National pub co disposals represent another high volume sector for Christie + Co with numerous transactions completing to individual cash buyers

  • 65 High Street Bars, Nightclubs and Late Night venues on behalf of Tattershall Castle Group, Dukedom, iNNERTAIN and Spirit
