Feasibility Studies of hotels in Romania and Bulgaria
On the instruction of an international development company,
Christie + Co accomplished a feasibility study for three hotels in
Romania and Bulgaria. The focus was on the review and assessment of
the locations, in particular their suitability for the development
of premium products as well as an estimate of the economic
potential.
Feasibility study of several hotel locations in Germany and Austria
On the instruction of a major German development company,
Christie + Co analysed several locations, amongst others in Munich,
Hamburg, Berlin, Dresden and Vienna, in view of a feasible hotel
development. The objective of the appointment was the review of the
location and the hotel market, the definition of a suitable product
as well as the determination of the cash flow for deducing a
market-driven rent.
Valuation of a 4-star hotel in Poland
Christie + Co was engaged by a large German open-ended property
investment fund as part of a transaction to value a
chain-affiliated 4-star hotel in Krakow, Poland. The valuation was
RICS-compliant and included an assessment of the hotel property as
well as an analysis of the local market.
Valuation of two luxury hotels in Vienna and Budapest
On the instruction of a major private equity fund, Christie + Co
valued – amongst others – two luxury hotels of an
international brand in Vienna and Budapest. The RICS-compliant
valuation was performed in preparation of the transaction
process.
