Christie + Co markets former Smollensky’s Bar & Grill in Wapping

Acting on the instruction of the mortgagee, Christie + Co is marketing the long-leasehold interest of the former Smollensky’s Bar & Grill restaurant site at Cinnebar Wharf, Wapping, with offers in the region of £900,000 sought.

Part of an award-winning residential development overlooking The Thames, the 5,920 sq ft premises is within walking distance of St Katharine Docks and Tower Bridge.

The site, which is currently closed, was handed back to the landlord after trading under the well-known Smollensky’s brand for a number of years.

The property is held on a long ground lease of 999 years, which commenced in January 2000. This virtual freehold comes with a peppercorn rent.
