Christie + Co sells Le Frog restaurant portfolio

Acting on behalf of administrators Begbies Traynor, Christie + Co has sold four out of the original five North West-based, Le Frog restaurants owned by The Grill Group for an undisclosed sum to Paul Lilley, former chief executive of The Grill Group.

The four restaurants, which are situated in Ormskirk, Fullwood and Wigan in Lancashire, and St Helens, Merseyside, will continue to operate under the Le Frog brand.

Wolfteam Ltd, part of The Grill Group, which operated the five-strong Le Frog chain, was placed in administration in October. The Le Frog site in Warrington has been closed.
