Christie + Co celebrates the winners of its 2007 company awards

Leading international business agents, Christie + Co, held its 2007 Awards Lunch on Friday 8th February 2008 in Central London.
Guests included all company directors, together with those newly appointed during 2007, new associate directors, members of staff who were receiving recognition for their long service and those who had been nominated for the annual awards.
The celebrations commenced with a champagne reception, followed by an absolutely superb lunch, and entertainment was provided by Will Greenwood, the well known rugby star, with some of his insights into the teamwork which helped England win the Rugby World Cup in 2003.
The award nominations and winners were announced by broadcaster and voice artist, Charles Nove, and the presentations were made by Will Greenwood, with the help of Christie + Co’s Chairman, David Rugg, Managing Director, Chris Day, and Sue Dougal, Managing Director of Christie Finance and Christie Insurance.

Valuer of the Year: Karl Hines – Ipswich
Corporate Negotiator of the Year: Sebastian Meredith – London
Hotels Negotiator: Graeme Smith – Glasgow
Pubs Negotiator: Keith Goodwin – Winchester
Restaurants Negotiator: Ken Knight – Bristol
Retail Negotiator: Melvyn Eke – Ipswich
Care Negotiator: Neil Thomson – Manchester
Director of the Year: Simon Stevens – London
Corporate Advisor: Armin Bruckmeier – Munich
Company Negotiator: Torsten Scholl – Hamburg
Christie Finance: Christie + Co Individual: Paul Heather – Exeter and Simon Cable – Birmingham
Christie Finance: Christie + Co Office: Exeter
Christie Finance Business Mortgages Employee: David Ward – Birmingham
Christie Insurance Employee: Sara Cosgrove - London
The Bristol Office was named Location of the Year, whilst the Winchester Office was awarded for the excellent performance of both its agency and valuation services teams. The award for Continental Performance was won by France.
