RREEF
Real Estate has acquired the Four Pillars Hotel Group and its
estate of five properties in Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire. The
deal, which was worth a reported £120 million, was brokered
by Christie + Co on behalf of Four Pillars. Under the terms of the
acquisition agreement, the hotels will continue to be operated
under the Four Pillars banner.
Christie + Co was responsible for brokering the following portfolio transactions:
- Moorfield Group Acquisition of 24 Macdonald Hotels on a vacant possession basis for circa £400 million.
- Wingrove Properties Ltd. Sale of three hotels totalling 137 bedrooms to a private investor for circa £20 million.
- Bonsai hotels Sale of 19 Bonsai-branded hotels in France.
- Thistle Hotels The sale of eight Thistle hotels across the UK.
- Holiday Inn hotels The sale of two hotels in Essen & Neu-Isenburg, Germany.
- Four Pillars Hotel Group The sale of Four Pillars Hotel Group to RREEF Real Estate.
- Hilton Metropoles The £417 million sale of the Hilton London Metropole and Hilton Birmingham Metropole.
- Queens Moat House The sale of nine Queens Moat House hotels.
- Acorn International Hotels The sale of 10 hotels in the Balearics.
- Accor Hotels The sale of eight hotels in Germany.
- Jardins de Paris The sale of 10 leasehold hotels in and around Paris.
- Holiday Inn The sale of seven hotels in the UK.
- Hilton Hotels The sale of seven Hilton Hotels in the UK.

- The Scotsman Group The sale of three luxury hotels in the UK and France, which were acquired for approximately £63 million by MBI International.

- Cwrt Bleddyn Country House Hotel The 44-bedroom property was sold to Lester Hotels.
- St Andrews Golf Hotel This 22-bedroom property was acquired by Hotel du Vin.
- The Crab at Chieveley This exclusive 14-room property was sold to Heritage Hotels.
- Express by Holiday Inn The Express by Holiday Inn at Strathclyde was sold to Geminex Hotels & Leisure.
- Hilton St Helens The 84-bedroom Lancashire hotel was sold to WG Mitchell.
- The Draycott Hotel The 5-star hotel was sold off-market to the Mantis Collection.
- Nunsmere Hall This Victorian country mainsion was sold to the Prima Hotel Group.
- Derwentwater Hotel Sale of a 48-bedroom hotel in the Lake District.

- Jarvis Hotels The sale of Ye Olde Bell Hotel acquired by a private hotel group for £8.5 million.
- Moat House Cheltenham/Gloucester This 120-bedroom hotel was acquired by QHotels through Christie + Co.
