Exclusive Hotel and Golf Resorts in Southern Spain
Christie + Co has been instructed to market two exclusive hotel and golf resorts in Southern Spain. Acting on behalf of the owners, Avanco and Herausa, we are marketing the Islantilla Golf Resort in Huelva and the Valle del Este Golf Resort in Almeria, which are offered to the market for the first time.
Hotel Jardim Atlântico, Madeira, Portugal
Christie + Co's Barcelona Office brokered the sale of the Hotel Jardim Atlântico to a group of private Spanish investors. The hotel was sold close to its asking price of €7.5m in a transaction believed to be the largest hotel sale to private Spanish investors to date. This 4-Star hotel includes 90 high-quality apartments and has magnificent, breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean. It is the only hotel in Portugal with an Ecolabel certification (for ecological hotels) provided by the European Union. This deal represents the second transaction undertaken by Christie + Co on the island of Madeira, having sold the prestigious Reids Palace to Orient Express.
Hoteles Globales acquires the Acorn International Hotels portfolio through Christie + Co
Christie + Co has announced the sale of the Acorn International hotel portfolio, in the Balearic Islands. The portfolio has been acquired by Mallorca-based Hoteles Globales for an undisclosed sum. The Acorn portfolio was put on the market just five months ago. It comprises eight freehold hotels in Mallorca, Menorca and Ibiza, and two freehold tourist apartment buildings, which are both in Mallorca.
Husa acquires a group of 5 coffee shops
Acting on behalf of a well known Catalonian coffee shop chain, Christie + Co was responsible for the selling of five establishments located in Barcelona and the area round. The portfolio was acquired by the Spanish group Husa, which is currently expanding its restaurant division.
