Currently, we have two offices in Spain. These cover the Iberian market (Spain and Portugal), the Canary and Balearic Islands and Madeira. We have a multi-lingual team of experts led by Inmaculada Ranera, who has more then 15 years’ experience and a thorough market knowledge, both at the Spanish and European level.

The opening of our first office in Spain (in 2000) in Barcelona was a significant development, as Spain did not previously have any real estate companies specialising in the hotel sector. Our second office was opened in Madrid in May, 2005.

We operate in Spain and Portugal through 3 departments: Agency, Consultancy and Investment & Development. The Agency Department acts in the sale, acquisition and leasing of hotels. Our Agency Team also works in the restaurant sector in the city of Barcelona, where we have a wide portfolio of businesses for sale. Our Consultancy Department offers a range of specialist services such as market and feasibility studies, acquisition or disposal advice, valuation and asset management. Through our Investment & Development Department we provide other specialist services relating to hotel projects; from operator searches to site selection.

The most recent activities of our team in Spain include the sale of the Hotel Jardim Atlantico in Portugal to a Spanish investor group; the sale of the Hotel Mexico in Mallorca to Summa Hotels and the acquisition of Harrington Hall hotel in London by the Spanish company Losan Inversiones, which is now being operated by NH Hoteles.
