Beike, Markus – Managing Director,
Germany
Markus is the Managing Director for Christie +
Co in Germany. Based in Frankfurt, he is responsible for the
offices in Frankfurt, Berlin, Dusseldorf,Munich and Hamburg. He
joined the firm in 2003, and has an extensive and long-standing
experience of hotel consultancy work and transaction assignments.
Markus has previously been employed by a range of international
hotel companies including Steigenberger and Kempinski, as well as
Deutsche Bank and Arthur Andersen.
Markus Beike holds a certificate as a
qualified hotelier from the German Chamber of Commerce,
Hotelfachmann (IHK), a graduate business diploma,
Diplombetriebswirt (FH), and a special degree in property business
(EBS).

Kraneis, Philipp - Director and Head of
Investment, Germany
Philipp Kraneis was one of the very first
people to join Christie + Co’s German operation in 1999. As
Head of Investments in Germany, he is responsible for the
transaction departments in Frankfurt, Munich and Dusseldorf.
Philipp specialises in working with open and closed end funds,
multiple ownership structures and NPL transactions. During his time
with Christie + Co, he has negotiated more than 100 freehold and
leasehold hotel deals. These included the sale of two hotel
portfolios operated under various Accor brands and the successful
disposal of the Maritim Hotel Reichshof in Hamburg. Prior to
joining Christie + Co, Philipp worked for Kempinski and has been in
the real estate business for more than 10 years. He was appointed
authorised signatory for Christie + Co Germany (GmbH) in 2007..

Bruckmeier, Armin – Director and Head of
Advisory & Valuation Services, Germany
Armin is based in Christie + Co's Munich Office. Having joined
the company as a Senior Consultant in January 2004 he is now a
Director & Head of Advisory and Valuation Services. Prior to
this he worked for PKF hotelexperts. He has gained extensive
experience of hotel feasibility, valuation studies and strategic
consultancy work, having worked on a wide range of hotels, serviced
apartments, time-share and other leisure properties throughout
Europe. More recently, he has worked alongside his UK colleagues on
a number of care home valuations.
Armin holds a Diplom-Betriebswirt (FH) degree in Economics,
specializing in Hotel and Restaurant Administration from the
University of Applied Sciences in Munich. Furthermore, he holds a
special degree in Real Estate (Immobilienökonom IRE/BS), which
is comparable to a Master of Science in Real Estate. Armin has
authored several articles on hotel valuation and other hotel
related topics.

Scholl, Torsten - Director and Location Manager,
Hamburg
Torsten Scholl started his career with
Christie + Co in 2004 and is based in our Berlin office. He was
integral in the development of our business in northern and eastern
Germany, establishing an experienced team of specialists with an
unrivalled knowledge of their local market. In 2007 he was
responsible for setting up a Hamburg office, where he spends some
of his time. Torsten has completed a number of notable
transactions, including the sale of the Le Méridien Hotel in
Hamburg-Stillhorn to the Israeli company, Fattal Hotels. In the
recent past, Torsten Scholl has been involved in a number of
healthcare projects in Germany. He also holds a graduate business
diploma — Diplom-Betriebsökonom (BI) and is certified as
property consultant by the German Chamber of Commerce —

Schaller, Martin - Senior Negotiator,
Frankfurt
joined Christie + Co in 2004 und has
considerable hotel industry experience. After his education as a
hotel expert at Dorint Hotels & Resorts, he joined Hyatt Hotels
as a sales agent. During his academic studies, he supported
Christie + Co in Frankfurt as an intern. Martin has a degree in
Business Administration (Diplom-Betriebswirt (FH)) and has studied
at universities in Germany, Sweden and the US.
Within the last three years Martin has successfully supported
many corporate and private transactions and he is responsible for
Christie + Co´s activities in the south of Germany.

Schürken, Guido - Associate Director and
Location Manager, Dusseldorf
Guido Schürken joined Christie + Co in
2004. Responsible for the opening and establishment of our
Dusseldorf office, Guido’s main task is the opening of new
markets in North-Rhine-Westphalia. Guido was previously employed as
property consultant for a property firm in North-Rhine-Westphalia,
he is a graduate surveyor (Diplom-Sachverständiger (DIA) and
certified as a property expert by the German Chamber of
Commerce.

Damerow, Stephanie - Senior Negotiator, Munich
Stephanie Damerow joined our Munich Office in
2006. Her responsibilities include the market development of
Bavaria and the establishment of business relationships with
clients in Austria and the German-speaking part of Switzerland.
Stephanie worked previously as property consultant for DB
Immobilien. She is a certified business expert in the property and
housing industry (Kauffrau der Grundstücks- und
Wohnungswirtschaft).

Schlemper, Michael - Corporate Healthcare
Consultant, Germany
Michael has been a Consultant at the
Christie + Co Munich Office since August 2007.
Prior to this he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts
degree in International Hotel and Tourism Management from the
International University of Applied Sciences Bad Honnef Bonn.
Michael is fully qualified specialist of the hospitality trade
approved by the German Chamber of Industry and Commerce. He has
gained extensive operational knowledge and experience during the
time of five years with Hyatt International where, after his
training, he worked in the Rooms department as night audit,
supervisor, front office clerk and mentor for new staff.

Blochwitz, Janine - Consultant, Munich
Janine joined Christie + Co as a Consultant in
February 2008. She holds a double-diploma in Business
Administration (Diplom-Betriebswirtin (FH) / Diplôme de
l’Ecole Multinationale des Affaires) and an International
Master in Tourism & Leisure. Prior to joining Christie + Co,
Janine gathered work experience in various industries in France,
The Republic of Ireland and Germany, most recently at Jones Lang
LaSalle Hotels in Munich. In addition to her mother tongue German,
she is fluent in English and French and has basic knowledge of
Italian.

Kropp, Tanja - Corporate Healthcare Senior
Negotiator Germany
After completing her studies in Business
Administration (Diplom-Kauffrau), Tanja Kropp went on to work in
the property sector where she has remained fort the past five
years. She joined Christie + Co`s Berlin office in 2006 as a hotel
negotiator and transferred to the corporate healthcare team in
2008. In her new role, Tanja is working closely with her colleagues
in the UK-based corporate care team. Her main responsibilitiy is to
offer acquisition and disposal advice to a number of the company`s
key client in order to grow Christie + Co`s care business in
Germany.

Gast, Pia - Communications Director, Germany
Pia joined Christie + Co in March 2001. She is
responsible for internal and external communications in Germany,
including press and media relations, organising events and
exhibitions and co-ordinating all kinds of print and online
marketing for all five German offices. Pia was instrumental in
setting up and continuously developing the German versions of the
Christie websites and helps to enhance brand awareness and improve
the Christie image in Germany. She is fluent in German, English and
Italian.
Pia Gast is a translator/interpreter for
English and a Fachwirtin Public Relations (IHK) – a Bachelor
of Public Relations from the Chamber of Industry and Commerce.
