On the instruction of the owner, Christie + Co sold the Mercure Hotel in Remscheid (near Dusseldorf) to a Danish investor. The hotel, which contains 116 bedrooms is run under the Mercure brand with a long-term lease contract with New Gen Hotels AG.

Christie + Co succeeded in generating multiple offers for the acquisition of this property, including a financing guarantee by the bank. The hotel was sold to the highest bidder.

On the exclusive instruction of Zech Hotels Holding GmbH, Christie + Co sold both business hotels with 164 and 168 bedrooms, to LB Immo Invest. These hotels are operated by the SWS Hotelbetriebsgesellschaft GmbH within the scope of a long-term lease agreement. Moreover, both hotels are run under the Holiday Inn brand with a long-term franchise contract.

On the instruction of an internationally operating hotel chain, Christie + Co sold a 140-bedroom hotel with a conference area within the scope of a structured bidding process to an Israeli Investor. On the instruction of Accor Germany, Christie + Co sold a portfolio of 8 hotels throughout Germany comprising a total of 780 bedrooms. The buyer is an Israeli investor who will operate the hotels under Accor franchise brands. The transaction, which was realised in the course of only 5 months, was finalised through Christie + Co’s ability to generate numerous offers by implementing a competitive bidding situation.

On the instruction of the British Starman UK Services Company Limited, Christie + Co sold this 4 star superior hotel to the Dutch hotel chain Van der Valk Beheer B.V. The hotel comprises 111 bedrooms and is located in the heart of Hildesheim close to Hanover.

Best Western Queens Hotels in Velbert and Pforzheim

On the instruction of Queens Gruppe Deutschland, Christie + Co sold these properties to a closed-end property fund and a private investor. Both transactions were finalised comparatively quickly, taking 4 and 6 months from instruction until completion.

Instructed by EUROHYPO, it took Christie + Co only 3 months to find a new lessee for this 130-bedroom hotel at Munich Airport. The hotel is now operated by Achat.

Former Scandic Hotel in Offenbach/close to Frankfurt

Christie + Co mediated the leasehold deal of this 255-bedroom hotel on behalf of the owners’ association. The new lessee, the Dutch hotel group Golden Tulip, operates the hotel under the Golden Tulip brand, the company’s only hotel with this brand within the bounds of a lease contract in Germany.
